O time sub-17 também lidera seu grupo com seis pontos e no mesmo dia do sub-15 pega o São Caetano na Academia de Futebol 2, mas às 11h.​

Paralelamente ao estadual, o time sub-17 comandado por Rafael Paiva disputa a Copa do Brasil da categoria. A equipe volta a atuar pela copa nacional na próxima quinta-feira (27), contra o Azuriz-PR, às 19h, pela ida das oitavas de final, no Estádio Os Pioneiros, em Pato Branco-PR.

Já na parte da tarde deste sábado, o time sub-20 do Palmeiras derrotou o Manthiqueira por 6 a 0, na Academia de Futebol 2, em Guarulhos, pela segunda rodada da fase inicial do Campeonato Paulista. O atacante Daniel foi o artilheiro do dia, com três gols. Thalys, Wendell e Talisca também balançaram a rede para completar o resultado.

Com o resultado, o Palmeiras chegou aos seis pontos, dividindo a liderança do grupo 11 do Paulista sub-20. Até o momento, a equipe alviverde venceu as duas partidas que disputou, com sete gols marcados e nenhum sofrido. O próximo compromisso do time pelo estadual é contra o Taubaté, na próxima quarta-feira (26), às 15h (de Brasília), no Estádio Joaquim de Morais Filho, em Taubaté.

Guardiola has previously made it abundantly clear he doesn’t want to work with an oversized squad next season, with the Man City boss saying: “I said to the club I don’t want that. I don’t want to leave five or six players in the tribune. I don’t want that. I will quit. Make a shorter squad, I will stay.”

As such, despite recently offloading Jack Grealish, City may look to get some more players off the books before the transfer deadline, and Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Galatasaray are pursuing Ederson.

It remains to be seen whether City opt to cash-in on the Brazilian this summer, with reports from elsewhere revealing they have little interest in sanctioning a departure, but if they do, they may need to bring in a replacement.

That is due to the fact that new arrival James Trafford has limited experience in the Premier League, making just 28 appearances in the competition, and the Blues could now make a move for a goalkeeper who has proven himself at the top level.

That is according to an update from Accomando on X, who states that Man City are now set to “present an offer” for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in the next few days, as they continue to work on offloading Ederson.

Donnarumma is also a major target for Manchester United, and PSG are now willing to sanction a departure, having made it clear that Lucas Chevalier is their new number one, with the French club looking to receive £43m.

وانقطع حامد حمدان عن تدريبات بتروجيت بعد رفض النادي البترولي انتقاله إلى الزمالك، الأمر الذي دفع سيد عيد مدرب الفريق إلى رفض فكرة عودته إلى تدريبات الفريق مرة أخرى وخروجه من الحسابات الفنية له. 

وقال طارق مصطفى في تصريحات خاصة لـ بطولات: “ما تردد عن طلبي من إدارة نادي أهلي بني غازي التعاقد مع حامد حمدان كلام لا أساس له من الصحة”.

وأضاف: “إدارة نادي أهلي بني غازي لم تخاطب بتروجيت للتعاقد مع حامد حمدان حتى هذه اللحظة كما أشيع، ولكن اللاعب تم عرضه علينا من قبل أحد وكلاء اللاعبين”. 

كما عبر طارق مصطفى عن سعادته بتوليه تدريب أهلي بني غازي الليبي، قائلًا: “تجربة جديدة مع فريق كبير وعريق بحجم أهلي بني غازي الليبي وسعيد للغاية بهذه التجربة، وأثق في قدرتي على تحقيق البطولات مع الفريق”.

Prem Thakkur, the team owner of Galle Marvels in Lanka T10, has been arrested on match-fixing charges. Thakkur was arrested on Thursday, a day after the tournament began, and was produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on Friday; he has since been remanded till December 16.Sri Lanka Police told ESPNcricinfo that Thakkur, an Indian national, had been arrested by the Sri Lanka Sports Police Unit under the 2019 Prevention of Offences Relating to Sports Act. He was arrested at a hotel in Kandy, where the Lanka T10 tournament is underway. It is understood that a foreign player had flagged a fixing approach made by Thakkur. Like in the LPL earlier this year, a representative of the ICC anti-corruption unit is also in Sri Lanka to oversee the tournament at the request of Sri Lanka Cricket.While SLC is yet to speak on the matter, Lanka T10 tournament director Samantha Dodanwela confirmed that the tournament “will go ahead as scheduled”.TTen Global League and IPG, the consortium partners, released a statement on the matter, saying, “We strictly maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption in cricket. We are fully committed to upholding the integrity of the sport and will provide complete cooperation to the authorities in the ongoing investigation.”The league management is dedicated to safeguarding the rights of all players and officials while ensuring the seamless operation of the event.”This is the second franchise tournament in Sri Lanka this year in which a team owner has been arrested under the country’s sports anti-corruption ordinance after LPL franchise Dambulla Thunders’ co-owner Tamim Rahman was arrested in May on allegations of match-fixing. In 2019, Sri Lanka became the first nation in South Asia to criminalise match-fixing, with offences related to corruption in sports carrying various fines and a prison term of up to ten years.The Lanka T10 is Sri Lanka’s first foray into hosting a T10 franchise league, with the event rights for the tournament managed and operated by a consortium consisting of the Innovative Production Group, T Ten Sports Management and T Ten Global Sports, which also operates several other T10 franchise leagues across the world.

A procuradoria do STJD pediu a suspensão preventiva de Eduardo Bauermann (Santos), Moraes (Aparecidense, ex-Juventude), Gabriel Tota (do Ypiranga-RS, ex-Juventude), Paulo Miranda (Náutico, ex-Juventude), Igor Cariús (Sport, ex-Cuiabá), Matheus Gomes (ex-Sergipe), Fernando Neto (São Bernardo, ex-Operário-PR) e Kevin Lomonaco (Red Bull Bragantino). Ao todo, seis jogadores dessa lista foram denunciados pelo Ministério Público de Goiás.

Lomonaco e Moraes assumiram a culpa, fizeram acordo com o MP-GO, viraram testemunhas e não foram denunciados. Porém, eles foram inseridos na denúncia da procuradoria do STJD.

Os jogadores foram denunciados no Superior Tribunal de Justiça Despotiva pelos artigos 243 e 243 A do Código Brasileiro de Justiça Desportiva, que fala em “atuar, deliberadamente, de modo prejudicial à equipe que defende e “atuar, de forma contrária à ética desportiva, com o fim de influenciar o resultado de partida, prova ou equivalente”.

Assim, os acusados podem pegar uma suspensão de até 720 dias, além de multa de até R$ 100 mil. Caso algum deles seja reincidente, a punição pode ser o banimento do futebol.

ENTENDA O CASO

A investigação sobre suspeita de manipulação de resultados visando lucro em apostas esportivas teve início em novembro do ano passado. O mandatário do Vila Nova, Jorge Hugo Bravo, descobriu que jogadores do clube vinham sendo aliciados por um grupo de apostadores antes da partida contra o Sport pela Série B. O dirigente juntou provas da tentativa de manipulação e procurou os promotores que combatem o crime organizado no estado.

A investigação iniciada pelo MP-GO listou pelo menos 13 partidas com suspeita de esquema de manipulação. Segundo o site do órgão, oito jogos seriam da Série A do Campeonato Brasileiro de 2022, além de um da Série B e quatro em estaduais neste ano.

Celtic still chasing reinforcements

Even after another flawless start to the Scottish Premiership campaign, defending champions Celtic are still on the hunt for reinforcements this month. The Bhoys will be well aware of just how important it is to build whilst on top and even though the likes of Benjamin Nygren represent that ambition, there’s still room for more fresh faces.

One of the players who has found himself on Celtic’s radar as of late is Jamie Vardy. The former Leicester City forward thrived under Rodgers at the King Power and could now reunite with his old manager now that he has left the Foxes as a free agent.

Even at 38 years old, Vardy would still have plenty to offer the current Celtic side both on and off the pitch. Just last season, the Premier League veteran scored 10 goals in all competitions as a struggling Leicester side suffered relegation. Any concerns that he wouldn’t be able to leave his mark on the Scottish Premiership should, therefore, be put to rest.

Vardy’s not the only target on Celtic’s radar, however, and it looks as though they’re now edging closer and closer to finally welcoming a long-term target.

Celtic reach agreement in principle for Balikwisha

According to Sacha Tavolieri, Celtic have now reached an agreement in principle to sign Michel-Ange Balikwisha from Royal Antwerp. As ever with the winger, though, the deal is far from simple. As per Tavolieri, even though that agreement has been reached and a medical was scheduled, there remains internal issues that need solving before Balikwisha can become a Celtic player at long last.

It’s somewhat of a groundhog day for Celtic fans, who were denied the chance to welcome Balikwisha last season when he suffered an untimely injury.

The SCG pitch for the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against India, which was dominated by pace bowlers who gained lavish seam movement and some uneven bounce, has been rated “satisfactory” by the ICC match referee, and Cricket Australia has termed it a “step in the right direction” for surfaces at the venue.The groundsman used a new variety of grass for this season’s Test pitch, having trialled it during last summer’s Sheffield Shield, and it resulted in the third-shortest Sydney Test of all time – with an outright result – based on deliveries bowled. Venues are given demerit points if they receive unsatisfactory or unfit ratings.The SCG has previously been criticised for pitches not offering enough assistance for bowlers, which, coupled with poor weather, led to four draws in five seasons between 2018-19 and 2022-23.”The ground staff have done an incredible job in terms of creating a wicket with something in it,” Australia coach Andrew McDonald said after day two. “Traditionally here it’s quite benign and we’ve had a lot of draws, so a lot of people have been talking about the draws, so you’re damned if you do it and damned if you don’t. I think he’s trying to produce an even contest between bat and ball. It’s made for interesting cricket.”The other four pitches in the series – at Perth’s Optus Stadium, Adelaide Oval, the Gabba and MCG – all received “very good” ratings.

Derrota mais do que dolorosa para um São Paulo que passou a maior parte do tempo pressionando um Palmeiras que, com a vantagem adquirida cedo no placar, soube administrar o jogo e ditar o seu ritmo de jogo. Quando o Tricolor parecia melhor no jogo, veio a definição do jovem camisa 9 alviverde para impedir de vez qualquer chance para os mandantes em um clássico visivelmente nervoso, com Abel Ferreira batendo boca com Calleri e depois David e Artur se estranhando .

A vitória leva o Verdão aos 22 pontos, na segunda colocação, a dois do líder Botafogo. Já o São Paulo caiu para a oitava posição, com 15.

NÍCIO FULMINANTE? BEM, NÃO…

Empurrado pela multidão que lotou o Morumbi, o São Paulo começou buscando ocupar espaços e pressionar o Palmeiras. A tática parecia que ia render frutos. Aos 2′, Luciano pegou sobra de bola dentro da área e chutou. A bola desviou em Mayke e Raphael Claus anotou o pênalti inicialmente, mas voltou atrás após o lance ser revisto no VAR.

Foi só para o Tricolor. Nem todo o apoio da galera conseguiu impedir o que se seguiu. Aos 10′, o São Paulo tentou sair jogando com bola rasteira de seu campo de defesa. Não conseguia encontrar espaços até que Arboleda, em lance infeliz, perde o lance para Gabriel Menino, que driblou seco Gabriel Neves na entrada da área antes de bater no ângulo para abrir o placar aos visitantes.

RETRANCA, SUOR E SANGUE

Com a vantagem a seu favor, o Palmeiras fez o que sabe fazer melhor: cozinhar o jogo e ditar o ritmo das ações. Começou logo aos 14′, em lance estranho. Calleri disputou bola com Mayke e acabou empurrando o rival. Abel Ferreira, à beira do gramado, comprou as dores e foi tirar satisfações de maneira efusiva com o argentino são-paulino. Levou amarelo.

Jogo de cena ou não do português para pilhar o adversário, a toada que se seguiu. O Palmeiras teve uma chance com Artur, defendida por Rafael. Mas a maior parte do tempo foi de um São Paulo que ganhou a posse de bola sem conseguir aproveitar para furar a retranca alviverde.

Tanto foi assim que chance de perigo, mesmo, só aos 46′, quando Luciano, com liberdade, chutou de fora da área e exigiu boa defesa em dois tempos de Weverton.

CLÁSSICO MELHORA

As emoções do jogo, de fato, ficaram reservadas para o segundo tempo. Logo aos 2′ o Palmeiras resolveu ir ao ataque. E quase fez. Zé Rafael aproveitou uma sobra de bola na entrada da área e experimentou a bomba, para grande defesa de Rafael.

O gol acabou de vez com o sonho são-paulino. Até houveram chances, como aos 37′, quando Pablo Maia experimentou o chute de fora da área, e aos 40′, com Caio também arriscando uma fianlização para outra defesa de Weverton.

The PCB has slashed match fees for players participating in the upcoming National T20 Cup. Players in the tournament will be paid match fees of PKR 10,000 (US$ 35 approx.), a 75% fall from the last edition of the tournament, where players were paid match fees of PKR 40,000.It is an even bigger cut when compared to 2022, when players were paid PKR 60,000 as match fees for the tournament. Reserve players in the squad in this edition will be paid PKR 5000 (approx.
